On
Saturday April 10, 2010, Sunshrine Day Spa and Salon
celebrated its 10th Anniversary. We
celebrated our anniversary with an open house and
launched a $10.00 service menu for the month of April.
Our open house brought in a lot of visitors to share
in the excitement of 10 years of success. For the
month of April we partnered up with an organization
called Child Help, so during our Anniversary Open
house we held a bake sale to raise funds for the
charity. As well, we spent the month raising
funds for this great cause. We have raised almost $600
towards Child Help through our bake sale and other
donations by clients. Child Help is run by volunteers,
so all of the proceeds go directly to the children
experiencing abuse.
Innovation,
Education and Commitment are some of the key factors
that have made Sunshrine what it is today. Our
commitment provides an atmosphere of relaxation and
friendly service, as well as outstanding beauty
expertise towards our profession, our clients and our
community. A sign which simply read “Sunshrine,”
distinguished a new tanning salon in the Lakefield
Village 10 years ago. We had just opened our doors to
provide a prosperous community with tanning and
esthetic services. In 2002 we started doing hair out
of our original location, but only servicing bridal
parties. This remarkable relationship between a spa
and salon created a more convenient, relaxing feeling
for our clients. Sunshrine’s commitment to service,
quality and beauty is a success factor and the vision
behind the salon's growth. Over the years, Sunshrine
has expanded retail space and grown as a business in
delivering all aspects of hair styling, beauty care,
technique, product lines, size, staff and ownership,
adding a full range of spa services to its service
roster in 2007. Sunshrine’s proprietor, Tammy Blair,
brought her experienced leadership to ensure that her
talented team of 20 staff, consistently delivers the
high standards she sets for quality while maintaining
a relaxed, comfortable and professional ambience for
Sunshrine's clientele. One of our top priorities at
Sunshrine is education. The Sunshrine team continually
attends courses throughout the year, all over North
America, ensuring they are trained in the latest
trends and products in the Spa and Salon field.

sustaining its customer loyalty.
